Construction Monitoring & Reporting

This service is suitable for

• Short-term projects such as interior fit-out works in office or retail spaces, building projects with durations under six months, building extensions.
• Audit-type assessments performed as a third party.

The service involves systematic periodic inspections of construction activities at a frequency agreed upon—for example, 2–3 times per week. Any defects or issues identified during the inspections will be communicated to the contractor for corrective action. The consulting engineer will prepare summary reports and submit them to the client, as well as provide advisory support on matters related to project execution.

 

Service fees vary depending on inspection frequency, size and project location. The basic scope of work includes:

• Conducting periodic inspections of construction works according to the agreed frequency
• Reporting defects or issues to the contractor for repair and corrective action
• Preparing reports for the client, such as Weekly Reports or final reports upon project completion
• Inspecting completed works for payment verification
• Providing advisory services to the client on various project-related matters, such as recommended solutions to project issues commonly adopted by leading brands, strategies to reduce construction costs, or ways to shorten project timelines
